An original 2010-2015 Toyota Prius hybrid battery contains 28 battery modules with each module containing 6 cells for a total of 168 cells. Our proprietary technology allows us to run extensive tests on each individual cell to determine it’s exact properties, health and expected lifespan.  Bad cells are discarded in an ecologically sound manner and the remaining cells are remanufactured to perform better in almost every way.  Internal resistance is lowered, capacity is increased and separator degradation rate is improved.

All modules are then stress tested under simulated real life conditions on another one of our proprietary machines. Each cell is then balanced and matched with 167 other high quality cells of equivalent properties including durability, longevity and performance.  The cells are then divided into 28 modules with 6 cells per module to make up your remanufactured battery pack.  The newly remanufactured Prismatic modules are numbered in a very specific order to ensure the best performance and longest service life possible.
