Our fully remanufactured hybrid  battery rebuild kits are the most technologically sound, properly tested and professionally matched remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits on the market today.   The technology to accurately test and diagnose the health, longevity and properties of each cell in every module of a hybrid battery didn’t exist when Electron was founded over a decade ago.  Rather than use inferior off-the-shelf diagnostic equipment, we developed our own proprietary technology with the ability to accurately measure the health, properties and lifespan of each individual battery cell.

An original 2001-2003 Toyota Prius hybrid battery contains 38 battery modules with each module containing 6 cells. Our proprietary technology allows us to run an extensive list of tests on each of the 228 cells to determine the health and expected lifespan each cell.  Bad cells are discarded in an ecologically sound manner and the remaining cells are remanufactured to perform better in almost every way.  Internal resistance is lowered, capacity is increased and separator degradation rate is improved.

All modules are then stress tested under simulated real life conditions on another one of our proprietary machines. Each cell is balanced and then matched with 227 other cells of equivalent quality, durability and longevity.  The 228 matched and balanced cells are divided into 38 modules with 6 cells per module.  The newly remanufactured Prismatic modules are then numbered in a very specific order to ensure the best performance and longest service life possible.

Our 2001-2003 Toyota Prius remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits are shipped to your preferred location in two padded USPS boxes and come with detailed assembly and installation instructions, access to our how-to video library, ASE Certified Hybrid Technical Support and 12 Month/15,000 Mile No Hassle Warranties.  Our hybrid battery rebuild kits are the best performing, most dependable and longest lasting remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits on the market today.

Why We Need Your Old Hybrid Battery Components?

Your old hybrid battery components have value to us.  The modules and cells in your old hybrid battery may not function properly as a unit, but some of the cells are still in good shape and other components may be perfectly fine.  We can remanufacture the good modules/cells and clean-up components that are still in good shape to build hybrid batteries for other hybrid owners. For complete details on our Refundable Core Deposit Policy Click Here.

Returning your old hybrid battery modules, cells and other components keeps our manufacturing costs down and we pass those savings along to our customers.  Reusing hybrid battery components reduces the amount of fuel, energy and pollution used to manufacture new parts and reusing is always better for our environment than replacing.  Customers that prefer to keep their old hybrid battery or components can do so by adding an amount equal to the core deposit to the purchase price of their hybrid battery rebuild kit or hybrid battery.
