Core Deposits are completely refundable deposits on hybrid battery purchases that are being shipped prior to the return or exchange of your old hybrid battery.  The amount of the core deposit will be added to your order during checkout and your deposit is fully refunded when you return your old hybrid battery to Electron within 30 days of purchase.

The Refundable Core Deposit on this hybrid battery is $449.00 and it will be added to your order during checkout. Your core deposit will be fully refunded when you return your old hybrid battery to Electron within 30 days of purchase.  The return period can be extended for a maximum of five (5) days if there are extenuating circumstances, but Electron must be notified in writing at least 48 hours prior to the expiration of your thirty (30) days from purchase date.

FREE SHIPPING and our “No Hassle Battery Return Process” makes refunding your core deposit and returning your old battery QUICK & EASY!  All of our hybrid battery purchases come with Free Shipping and a Prepaid Return Shipping Label. 

Core Deposits are not required for in-shop, local mobile or nationwide mobile installation services. The exchange or return of old hybrid batteries takes place at the time of service or installation, so no core deposit is required.

Why Do We Need Your Old Hybrid Battery?

Sales of all hybrid batteries, including batteries purchased from dealerships, are contingent upon receiving the old battery/core in return.  Customers who prefer to keep their old hybrid battery instead of returning it can do so by adding an amount equal to the core deposit to the purchase price of their battery.

RETURNING YOUR OLD HYBRID BATTERY TO ELECTRON

Our “No Hassle Battery Return Process & FREE SHIPPING” makes returning your old battery and refunding your Core Deposit QUICK & EASY!  All of our hybrid battery purchases come with Free Shipping and a Prepaid Return Shipping Label. 

Just unpack your new Electron hybrid battery when it arrives and save the packaging.  Use the saved packaging to pack-up your old hybrid battery and attach the Prepaid Return Shipping Label that came with your new battery to the outside of the packaging.  Call the shipper that dropped off your new battery and let them know that your return battery shipment is ready for pick-up. Core Deposits Only Apply to Hybrid Battery Orders that are Shipped – Core Deposits do not apply to hybrid battery orders that are picked-up at our Hybrid Repair facilities in Orange, California, Local In-Shop hybrid battery installations or mobile hybrid battery installations.  The exchange/return of the customers hybrid battery is handled at the time of service or installation and therefore no core deposit is required.

Step-by-Step Battery Return Instructions Using Electron’s Prepaid Return Shipping Labels

1. Prepaid Return Shipping Labels makes the return of your old hybrid battery a piece of cake.  Don’t forget that your old hybrid battery needs to be returned to Electron within 30 days of purchase in order to receive your full core deposit refund.
2. When your new Electron hybrid battery arrives, save the packaging and put your old hybrid battery back into the packaging in the same manner that your new battery came in.
3. Your Prepaid Return Shipping Label is included with your new Electron battery, so just attach your Return Shipping Label to the packaging containing your old hybrid battery.
4. Call the shipper that delivered your new battery and let them know that your return battery shipment is ready for pick-up.
5. Once we have received your old hybrid battery, your core deposit will be refunded or credited to your credit card within 2-3 business days. Please remember that your old battery must be received by Electron within 30 days of purchase in order for your deposit to be fully refunded.

Electron reserves the right to extend their “Return Within 30 Days of Purchase Policy” if a customer has extenuating circumstances and we receive written notification at least 48 hours in advance. Any extension is at the sole discretion of Electron Hybrid Solutions and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Hybrid Battery Order Process

1. Choose a hybrid battery from the options available for your make, model and year.   Add it to your cart.
2. Click the check box for Refundable Core Deposit
3. Complete the ordering process by adding your payment details and shipping address to your order and complete the checkout process.
4. Your new hybrid battery will be shipped to your preferred location and includes a Prepaid Return Shipping Label to return your old hybrid battery.  
5. Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours.
6. Reuse the delivery packaging, crating or pallet that your new hybrid battery came in to return your old hybrid battery to Electron. Return shipping instructions are included with your new battery.
7. Attach the included Prepaid Return Shipping Label to the top of the  packaging, crate or pallet.
8. Call the shipper that delivered your new battery from Electron and let them know that your old hybrid battery is packed-up and ready to go.
