You have options in today’s hybrid battery marketplace and there is no better or more affordable way to restore the performance, power and fuel economy of your hybrid than with a Hybrid Battery Rebuild Kit with Brand New Cylindrical Cells from Electron.  Our Rebuild Kits are built to a higher standard than dealership replacement batteries, have longer warranties and are significantly less expensive.

New rebuild kits are built using our own proprietary cutting-edge technology and include brand new factory fresh cylindrical hybrid battery modules/cells, all new nickel-plated copper bus bars, new upgraded wiring harnesses, new plastic bus bar covers, new chemically treated anti-corrosion hardware, new heavy gauge high voltage wire and new insulated rod covers.

ADVANTAGES OF NEW CYLINDRICAL HYBRID BATTERY MODULES VS ORIGINAL PRISMATIC HYBRID BATTERY MODULES

The original Prismatic battery cells in Lexus CT200h battery packs have been redesigned to take advantage of the benefits that Cylindrical battery cells provide.  An original battery pack consisted of 28 Prismatic battery modules paired in 14 blocks, but the new design only uses 14 cylindrical battery modules to make up the same 14 blocks. New cylindrical modules are 100% backwards compatible with the original battery pack and use the same wiring harnesses, temperature sensors, mounting hardware and battery enclosure.

Cylindrical cells exceed original OEM specifications and have lower internal resistance than prismatic cells which allows better flow of electricity, more power, and a quicker recharge when using regenerative braking.  The shape of cylindrical cells allows better air flow through the battery pack and eliminates the issue of prismatic cells in the center of battery packs overheating and causing batteries to fail prematurely.

Do-it-Yourselfers will appreciate the fact that cylindrical modules are pre-numbered and fit together like a puzzle which makes installation easier and ensures that all modules are in perfect alignment.  New Rebuild Kits also include detailed installation instructions, access to our how-to video library, ASE Certified Hybrid Technical Support, 36 Month/45,000 Mile No Hassle Warranties and FREE SHIPPING within the Continental U.S. + Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

FITS HYBRID VEHICLES – This new hybrid battery rebuild kit is guaranteed to fit correctly and is considered a direct replacement part for 2011-2017 Lexus CT200h Hybrids.

Why We Need Your Old Hybrid Battery Components?

Your old hybrid battery components have value to us.  The modules and cells in your old hybrid battery may not function properly as a unit, but some of the cells are still in good shape and other components may be perfectly fine.  We can remanufacture the good modules/cells and clean-up components that are in good shape to build hybrid batteries for other hybrid owners. For complete details on our Refundable Core Deposit Policy Click Here.

Returning your old hybrid battery modules, cells and other components keeps our manufacturing costs down and we pass those savings along to our customers.  Reusing hybrid battery components reduces the amount of fuel, energy and pollution used to  manufacture new parts and reusing is always better for our environment than replacing.  Customers that prefer to keep their old hybrid battery or components can do so by adding an amount equal to the core deposit to the purchase price of their hybrid battery rebuild kit or hybrid battery.
