REFUNDABLE CORE DEPOSITS

Core Deposits are completely refundable deposits on all hybrid battery rebuild kit and battery purchases.  The Refundable Core Deposit on this hybrid battery rebuild kit is $199.00 and it will be added to your order during checkout.  Your core deposit will be refunded in full upon  return of your old/used hybrid battery components.  Used hybrid battery components must be returned to Electron within 30 days of purchase for your deposit to be fully refundable.

Core Deposits are not required for in-shop, local or nationwide mobile installation services because batteries are exchanged at the time of service or installation.  The return period can be extended for a maximum of five (5) days if there are extenuating circumstances, but Electron must be notified in writing at least 48 hours prior to the expiration of your thirty (30) days from purchase date.

Why We Need Your Old Hybrid Battery Components?

Your old hybrid battery components have value to us.  The modules and cells in your old hybrid battery may not function properly as a unit, but some of the cells are still in good shape and other components may be perfectly fine.  We can remanufacture the good modules/cells and clean-up components that are still in good shape to build hybrid batteries for other hybrid owners.

Returning your old hybrid battery modules, cells and other components keeps our manufacturing costs down and we pass those savings along to our customers.  Reusing hybrid battery components reduces the amount of fuel, energy and pollution used to manufacture new parts and reusing is always better for our environment than replacing.

New and remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits come with Prepaid Return Shipping Labels as well as FREE SHIPPING within the Continental U.S. + Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.  Simply save the packaging that your New or Remanufactured Electron Hybrid Battery Rebuild Kit was delivered in.  Use the packaging and Prepaid Return Shipping Labels to pack and ship your old hybrid battery components back to Electron.

To schedule pickup and return of your old hybrid battery components, contact the shipping company that delivered your Electron rebuild kit or call 1-800-804-2003 and we will arrange pickup and return delivery for you.  Upon receipt, your Core Deposit will be refunded or credited to your credit card within 2-5 business days.

If you purchased a Hybrid Battery Rebuild Kit with Brand New Cells,  all you have to return are the old/used modules/cells from your hybrid battery. 

Hybrid battery components must be returned to Electron within 30 days of purchase in order for your deposit to be fully refunded. Electron reserves the right to extend their “Return Within 30 Days of Purchase Policy” if a customer has extenuating circumstances and we receive written notification at least 48 hours in advance. 1. Choose a new or remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kit from the options available for your make, model and year.  Add it to your cart.
2. Check the box for Refundable Core Deposit
3. Complete the ordering process by adding your payment info, shipping address etc. to your order and complete the checkout process.
4. Your hybrid battery rebuild kit will be shipped to your preferred location and will include Prepaid Return Shipping Labels to return your old hybrid battery components to Electron.
5. Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours.
6. Use the packaging that your Electron hybrid battery came in to return your old hybrid battery components to Electron.  Attach Prepaid Return Shipping Labels to the return packaging.
7. Contact the shipping company that delivered your Electron battery to pick up and return or call 1-800-804-2003 and we will arrange pickup and return delivery for you.
8. Your core deposit will be refunded or credited to your credit card within 2-5 business days from receipt of your old hybrid battery components.
