Bad cells are discarded in an ecologically sound manner and the remaining cells are remanufactured to perform better in almost every way.  Internal resistance is lowered, capacity is increased and separator degradation rate is improved.

All modules are then stress tested under simulated real life conditions on another one of our proprietary machines. Each cell is balanced and matched with other cells of equivalent quality, durability and longevity.  The newly remanufactured Prismatic modules are then numbered in a very specific order to ensure the best performance and longest service life possible.

REFUNDABLE CORE DEPOSITS ON HYBRID BATTERIES

Core Deposits are fully refundable and apply when batteries are purchased and shipped prior to the exchange or return of your old hybrid battery. Core Deposits ensure the timely return or exchange of customer’s old hybrid batteries and prompt refund of your core deposit.

The Refundable Core Deposit on this remanufactured hybrid battery is $599.00.  The deposit will be added to your order during checkout and will be refunded in full upon receipt of your old hybrid battery.

Your old hybrid battery must be returned within 30 days of purchase in order for your entire deposit to be fully refundable.  The return period can be extended for a maximum of up to five (5) days if there are extenuating circumstances, but Electron must be notified in writing at least 48 hours prior to the expiration of your thirty (30) days from purchase date.

Why We Need Your Old Hybrid Battery?

Your old hybrid battery has value to us.  The modules and cells in your old battery may not function properly as a unit, but some of the cells are still in good shape and other components may be perfectly fine.  Bad cells are disposed of in an ecologically sound manner and we remanufacture the cells that meet our quality standards. We clean-up or replace the other battery components that are still in good shape and use them to build remanufactured hybrid batteries for other hybrid owners.

Returning your old hybrid battery modules, cells and other components helps us keep our remanufacturing costs down and we pass those savings along to our customers.  Reusing hybrid battery components reduces the amount of fuel, energy and pollution used to manufacture new parts and reusing is always better for our environment than replacing.  Customers that prefer to keep their old hybrid batteries can do so by adding an amount equal to the core deposit to the purchase price of their remanufactured hybrid battery.

Prepaid Return Shipping Labels make returning your old battery to Electron and refunding your Core Deposit QUICK & EASY!  Complete Battery Purchases come with Free Shipping within the Continental U.S. and Prepaid Return Shipping Labels.  Save the packaging that your Electron hybrid battery was delivered in and use it to pack-up your old hybrid battery.  Attach a Prepaid Return Shipping Label to the packaging and contact the company that delivered your Electron battery to have them pick up and return your old battery to Electron. 

Following the step-by-step battery return instructions below will ensure that your old battery is received by Electron in a timely manner and your Core Deposit is refunded promptly.

Step-by-Step Battery Return Instructions Using Electron’s Prepaid Return Shipping Labels

1. Prepaid Return Shipping Labels makes the return of your old hybrid battery a piece of cake.  Don’t forget that your old hybrid battery needs to be returned to Electron within 30 days of purchase in order to receive your full core deposit refund.
2. When your new Electron hybrid battery arrives, save the packaging and put your old hybrid battery back into the packaging in the same manner that your new battery came in.
3. Prepaid Return Shipping Labels are included with your Electron battery. Attach your Prepaid Return Shipping Label to the packaging containing your old hybrid battery.
4. Contact the company that delivered your Electron battery to have them pick up and return your old hybrid battery to Electron. 
5. Your core deposit will be refunded or credited to your credit card within 2-5 business days after your old battery has been received.  Please remember that your old battery must be received by Electron within 30 days of purchase in order for your deposit to be fully refunded.

Electron reserves the right to extend their “Return Within 30 Days of Purchase Policy” if a customer has extenuating circumstances and we receive written notification at least 48 hours in advance. Any extension is at the sole discretion of Electron Hybrid Solutions and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

2. Check the Refundable Core Deposit box.
3. Complete the ordering process by adding your payment details and shipping address to your order and complete the checkout process.
4. Your remanufactured hybrid battery will be shipped to your preferred location and includes Prepaid Return Shipping Labels to return your old hybrid battery to Electron.  
5. Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours.
6. Reuse the packaging that your Electron hybrid battery came in to return your old hybrid battery to Electron. Return shipping instructions are included with your hybrid battery
