Our fully remanufactured hybrid  battery rebuild kits are the most technologically sound, properly tested and professionally matched remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits on the market today.   The technology to accurately test and diagnose the health, longevity and properties of each cell in every module of a hybrid battery didn’t exist when Electron was founded over a decade ago.  Rather than use inferior off-the-shelf diagnostic equipment, we developed our own proprietary technology with the ability to accurately measure the health, properties and lifespan of each individual battery cell.

2003-2005 Honda Civic hybrid batteries contain 20 cylindrical battery modules with each module containing 6 cells.  Our proprietary technology allows us to run an extensive list of tests on each of the 120 cells to determine the health and expected lifespan of all 120 cells.  Bad cells are discarded in an ecologically sound manner and the remaining cells are remanufactured to perform better in almost every way.  Internal resistance is lowered, capacity is increased and separator degradation rate is improved.

All modules are then stress tested under simulated real life conditions on another one of our proprietary machines.  Each cell is balanced and matched with 119 other cells of equivalent quality, durability and longevity.    The 120 matched and balanced cells are divided into 20 modules with 6 cells per module.  The newly remanufactured modules are then numbered in very specific order to ensure the best performance and longest service life possible.

Our remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits for 2003-2005 Honda Civic Hybrids are shipped to your preferred location in padded USPS boxes and come with detailed assembly and installation instructions, access to our how-to video library, ASE Certified Hybrid Technical Support and 12 Month/15,000 Mile No Hassle Warranties.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Cell Type – Cylindrical High-Performing NiMH chemistry.
• Cell Condition – Fully Remanufactured
• Improved Cell Capacity – After the remanufacturing is performed, all cells have an improved capacity allowing for more and longer-lasting power.
• Improved Internal Resistance – The remanufacturing process lowers the internal resistance of the cells. The lower resistance is to electrical flow, the more power the cells can provide.
• Precision Cell Matching – Electron has developed the very latest hybrid battery remanufacturing technology, which insures optimum cell-matching, cell-balancing, improved performance, and longevity. Our proprietary equipment uses a multi-dimensional grading process to select battery cells that match by using 11 different parameters, not just capacity and voltage. All modules are numbered to ensure proper matching and balancing.

FEATURES

• Battery Kit Upgrades – Upgrades over original battery components include new nickel-plated copper bus bars and new chemically treated hardware to prevent corrosion.
• Inspected & Rigorously Tested– Battery Kits undergo detailed inspections and rigorous testing. Electron ensures that all battery kit modules pass 11 different validation gateways, visual and performance inspections.
• Precision Cell Matching – Electron uses their own cutting-edge technology to insure optimum cell-matching compatibility, improved performance, and longevity. Our proprietary software uses a multi-dimensional grading process to select only the cells that will provide high performance.
• Ready-to-Install – Our remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits are extremely easy to assemble and install.  No programming is required, and Electron provides detailed assembly and installation instructions, links to our “How-To” Video Library and complementary technical support from our team of ASE Certified Hybrid Technicians.
• No Hassle Warranty– Our remanufactured hybrid battery rebuild kits come with 12 Month 15,000 Mile No Hassle Warranties, but they are built to outlive their warranties.
